The ministry asserted that the attacks instead struck civilian areas. An official source told Yemen’s news agency, SABA, that “the new round of Zionist aggression is a failure like those before it.” The source added that Yemeni operations in support of Gaza will continue until the Israeli occupation regime’s genocide ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
The official emphasized that the strikes targeted civilian infrastructure and the Yemeni people as a whole due to their solidarity with Gaza, which is facing genocide and starvation in plain view of the international community.
The official also stressed that neither threats nor airstrikes will intimidate the Yemeni people or their leadership. Instead, these actions only strengthen their resolve and determination.
A senior military official also told regional news outlets that the enemy’s psychological and media warfare is ineffective and will not impact the course of Yemeni operations.
He also noted significant confusion within the Israeli establishment as it struggles to present a coherent narrative, adding that the Yemeni people, along with the people of the region, place no trust in Israeli claims and instead rely on statements from the Yemeni armed forces.
